Nubble Portrait
The Nubble Lighthouse is arguably the most photographed lighthouse in the country and it is quite easy to drive up to the point and shoot without ever leaving your car. I arrived at sunset and the parking lot was filled with cars and there were about a dozen photographers moving about the rocks getting their shots of the lighthouse. As darkness fell the crowd thinned and I was able to light the island without anyone bothering my work. In the summer a shot like this is almost impossible because the town keeps the island lit with a high intensity light to illuminate a flag.
