This is a cute little lighthouse and is not very well know. It sits on the property of a big power plant in Bridgeport and is off limits to the public. One can see it from the Bridgeport to Port Jefferson ferry whose dock is next door to the plant, or from the nearby grounds of the University of Bridgeport. I requested permission from the plant corporate owner and they allowed me access to the point, they even turned off the nearby string of streetlights in an effort to cut down on the ambient light pollution. However, floodlights from across the river were killing the scene but I was surprised at how many stars were visible. I lit the lighthouse with an LED light on a stand set about 50 feet from the lighthouse and then light painted the rocks in the foreground.
